An exciting, fixed term position is available in the Early Childhood Improvement Branch, Inner East Area. The Branch has multiple responsibilities, including supporting services with kindergarten programs and the implementation of the suite of Early Childhood reforms including Three-Year-Old Kindergarten, Pre-Prep, School Readiness Funding and various other key early childhood policies. The branch drives improvement in service delivery and outcomes for children across the Early Childhood sector.
Early Childhood Funding Advisor - North East Victoria Region (1.0 FTE Fixed term until 5 October 2025). Office location: Glen Waverley.

The branch drives improvement in service delivery and outcomes for children across the Early Childhood sector.
The role of the Early Childhood Funding Advisor is to provide a range of program support to early childhood service providers and the Early Childhood Improvement Branch.
The position will be required to work effectively to deliver quality, timely and effective customer service to managers, staff, service providers and members of the public. The position will coordinate and collect data for program area, prepare documentation and maintain accurate records for services/program areas. The position will also process funding and service agreement activities in accordance with the relevant program business rules using a variety of business systems and will support early childhood providers to apply for and access a range of early childhood funding, including Kindergarten Funding and funding to support vulnerable children and families.
The role will require high level communication and planning skills and close attention to detail.
