Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Early Childhood Music Teacher based in Mumbai. The Early Childhood Music Teacher will be responsible for implementing music-based curriculum, teaching music classes, and engaging young children in musical activities. Tasks include leading music sessions, and assessing the developmental progress of each child. Collaboration with other educators and providing a nurturing environment for children is also a key part of this role.
Teacher Qualifications for 8–18 Months (Pre-walkers, Early walkers, curious explorers, mostly non-verbal)
Location: Matunga
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with both young children and their caregivers
• Experience working with infants in a playschool, daycare, or parent-toddler program
• A strong understanding of early developmental milestones
• A nurturing, patient presence with a soothing singing voice
• Ability to engage caregivers and guide them through bonding activities
• A keen eye for safety, overstimulation, and sensory needs
• Bonus: Background in ECE (Early Childhood Education), music therapy, or infant caregiving
