Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and social interaction
Assess and monitor each child's development, maintaining accurate records of their progress
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to facilitate effective communication and collaboration
Encourage children's independence and self-confidence through various activities and interactions
Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and participate in professional development opportunities
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in the classroom
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Valid teaching certification or license in early childhood education
Experience working with young children in a pre-primary or childcare setting is preferred
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
First aid and CPR certification is advantageous
