Our client is located in the heart of the Adelaide Hills with beautiful open, natural learning spaces and is well resourced. The long standing Director has created a supportive environment for staff and is looking to welcome dedicated Early Childhood Teachers to the team, in preparation for the new 3 year old pre-school program.
Management strongly promotes staff wellbeing and regular professional development as well as offering excellent, above award rates of pay. This Centre invites and encourages new, innovative ideas where everyone contributes to programming and planning and has regular non-contact time.
The Opportunity and Benefits
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm.
This vacancy is newly created and will be responsible for leading the new 3 year old pre-school program for the centre.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Early Childhood Teacher with at least 4-5 years Early Childhood Teaching experience including excellent team leadership skills.
There are many benefits to this role including paid school holidays, school teaching hours, regular programing and planning time, regular professional development, closure over Christmas, and excellent wages under the Catholic Education pay scale with a salary of over $100,000 p.a depending on experience.
The start date for this role is flexible and can be an immediate start for the right person.
About you:
To be considered, you will;
Hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and South Australian Teachers Registration
Have at least 4 years experience teaching in a childcare setting
Have exceptional knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
Be a strong communicator and leader with a team focused philosophy and ability to build lasting relationships with children and families.
Have full working rights in Australia
You will also need the following, or be willing to obtain these;
Current Working with Children's Check
Current CPR and First Aid Certificates
Current Child Protection Training (RRHAN)
