About the role:
Locations: Edensor Park, NSW
Role Type: Full Time
This is a full-time position for our nursery/toddler/preschool rooms to work with an experienced team in a supportive and nurturing environment.
An active team member of the service and providing high-quality Early Childhood Education and Care to children
Prepared for the day’s activities well in advance
Support the educational leaders to ensure sound implementation of the educational program across the services
Ensure the services exceed the expectations and needs of the staff, children, parents, their families and the local community as it relates to education
Support exceeding operation of the service against NQF standards, as it relates to education
Lead and foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, respect and empowerment with all staff
Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the education framework.
What we are looking for:
The ideal applicant will hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or will have completed at least 50% of their studies, as recognised by ACECQA
2+ years of experience in a professional childcare environment
Accredited proficient teacher as per the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Sound knowledge of Children's Services Regulations and other legislative requirements
Working with Children Check clearance.
