Chantel Learning Childcare Centre is a long day care service which offers care for children aged between 6 weeks to 6 years and operated childcare facility that has been providing exceptional early childhood education and care to the local community for over 16 years. Our service strives to provide children with the foundation of early learning and the skills needed to flourish and grow. Our Service operates from 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

What we're looking for
Our centre is currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Chantel's with the opportunity to work 3-4 days to flexibly suite their lifestyle.
We are keen to meet people who believe in the need for high quality care and have a desire to make a difference in children's lives each day they come to work.
Early Childhood Teacher Desirable Skills Include:
-Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching. New graduate or finale year study welcome.
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and the ability to design and deliver age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues
A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young children and their families
A current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
Your role will be:
To assist in the caring of the children and meeting of their needs.
Work alongside a team of experienced staff to manage the room cleanliness and hygiene.
Contribute ideas to the planning and implementing of the daily curriculum.
Learn how to respond to children's cues.
Follow services policies and procedures.
Participate in Staff Meetings.
Ability to use Microsoft Word.
Quick Learner.
Effective Communication Skills.

A Childcare Trainee
We are keen to meet the right applicant to join our highly motivated team whilst undertaking a Certificate 3 in Children's Services (Traineeship).
This position best suits anyone over the age of 18 years, with no prior qualifications (in any field).
A childcare Certificate lll
A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education (Certificate III in Children's Services)
