Nestled within a stunning heritage-listed building, KU Maybanke Preschool offers a warm, welcoming space for children to grow, explore, and thrive. With over 40 years of experience, this charming and unique preschool in Pyrmont boasts a spacious outdoor play area that sparks curiosity and imagination. At KU Maybanke, children are encouraged to connect with nature through hands-on activities like gardening, growing their own vegetables and fruits, and even cooking up their harvests. Open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm during NSW term time, KU Maybanke provides an enriching and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.

The Role

KU Maybanke Preschool is seeking a dynamic, bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team in a part-time 12-month parental leave position. This rewarding role will see you working on Fridays, 7.6 hours per day.

Of course, you will need:

Relevant experience
An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree,
Current First Aid and CPR certificates and approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
Active NESA Teacher Accreditation,
Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
Current Working with Children Check
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011),
