The Role:

KU Grandstand is tucked away in the middle of a serene parkland setting behind North Sydney Oval , conveniently located within walking distance to public transport, our 60 place exceeding rated preschool is open Monday to Friday 8am-3:30pm during NSW school term times.

We foster a warm, inclusive, and collaborative environment where children thrive through inquiry-based learning and strong community connections. As part of the highly respected KU Children’s Services, we are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care, grounded in evidence-based practice and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.

This position is a part-time parental leave cover opportunity and will see you join our team 30.4 hours per week across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday .

Of course, you will need:

Australian working rights
A current NSW Working with Children Check
An ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
Completed training in Child Protection legislation
Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
NESA Teacher Accreditation
Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
