Nepean Hospital is seeking a passionate Permanent Full time Clinical Nurse Educator specialising in Recovery to join our dynamic team.
As a key member of our Clinical Education team, you will play a crucial role in the ongoing education and development of nursing staff, enhancing clinical practice and promoting the highest standards of patient care. Your role will be to design and deliver evidence-based education and training programs for nursing staff in the Recovery unit and provide clinical mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering professional development and competency. This role will see you collaborate with clinical leaders to identify learning needs and develop targeted educational interventions.

What you will bring to the role:
Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
Relevant clinical/education post registration qualification
Recent extensive clinical experience deemed appropriate by the selection panel
Demonstrated ability to identify learning needs and to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate education.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work in a consultative manner.
Demonstrated previous experience in clinical teaching, mentoring and preceptorship.
Demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
Commitment to working with NMUM to establish and maintain a learning environment that values and encourages learning and reflective practice.
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified and must not exceed the duration or conditions associated with the current visa.
