Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join the foundation team at Mini Masterminds. This is a hands on, on the floor role where you will work closely with educators each day, leading by example and driving best practice in early education.
Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of educators through on-the-floor mentoring, collaboration, and support.
Model and guide best-practice early childhood education in daily routines and program implementation.
Develop and deliver engaging, holistic learning programs that nurture each child’s growth, curiosity, and development.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture focused on high-quality care and education.
Build strong relationships with families and the community, promoting involvement and Excels’ values.
Ensure health, safety, and wellbeing standards are consistently met and upheld.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
At least 6 months’ experience as an Educational Leader or in a leadership capacity
Strong ability to lead, mentor, and inspire educators on the floor
Valid Working with Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
Child Protection training/certificate
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and professional development
