Job Description
To succeed as Early Years Teacher, you will need to be an extremely approachable and motivated individual able to inspire staff and children, ensure compliance and forge strong bonds with parents and the local community.
To be considered for this role you’ll need:
Early Years Teacher Training Qualification (EYT)
Excellent knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education, and of child protection procedures.
Through hands-on practice, lead and be accountable for high quality practice and provision for under 4’s which supports them to reach their full potential in all 7 areas of development.
To undertake the role of joint SENCO, to identify children in need of additional support to meet age-related outcomes and support the implementation of a range of intervention and support strategies.
To assess staff’s strengths and weaknesses and guide them towards appropriate training and self-development.
Level 3 safeguarding training.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role and to be able to act as a role model within every aspect of the team.
