Job Description
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. In this role, you will create a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and social-emotional growth. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum while maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom for children aged [Age Range, e.g., 30 months to 5 years].
Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Development: Design and lead engaging, play-based activities (storytelling, art, music, and outdoor exploration).
Child Supervision: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, including during transitions, meal times, and outdoor play.
Observation & Documentation: Track developmental milestones and maintain individual progress reports to share with parents and management.
Parent Communication: Maintain open, professional, and friendly communication with families regarding their child’s daily experiences and growth.
Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment that meets all health and safety licensing regulations.
Collaboration: Work effectively with a team of educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Valid ECE License/Certificate from BC.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Certifications: Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.
Background Check: Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector screening.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare setting preferred.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, sit on the floor, and remain active throughout the day.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
