Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ecommerce Intern to join our team. As an Ecommerce Intern, you will assist in the development and execution of our ecommerce strategy to increase our online sales and brand presence. You will work closely with our Ecommerce Manager and other team members to learn the ins and outs of the ecommerce industry and gain practical experience in online merchandising, digital marketing, website analytics, and customer experience.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing product catalog, including adding new products, updating product information, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory levels
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, social media, and paid advertising
• Analyze website traffic and sales data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
• Conduct market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify trends and opportunities
• Assist in the management of customer service inquiries and feedback, including responding to emails and social media messages in a timely manner
• Participate in the planning and execution of ecommerce promotions and sales events
• Stay up-to-date on ecommerce trends and technologies and share insights with the team
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Magento is a plus.
This is an unpaid/Paid internship that requires a commitment of at least 10-15 hours per week for a duration of 3-6 months. The intern will work remotely and will have access to our online tools and resources. Upon completion of the internship, the intern will receive a letter of recommendation and a certificate of completion
