We are looking for a
Staff Accountant to innovate, win and grow with us in Bangalore!
Position Summary :
The Staff Accountant will work closely with senior staff accountants and accounting managers to support different aspects of the financial reporting cycle.
In this role the individual needs to be highly motivated, driven and have the ability to work independently, providing accounting proficiency as part of the accounting group supporting our North American and Corporate accounting operations.
Essential Job Functions :
- Completing month-end close procedures; journal entry calculation and processing, general ledger account analysis, monthly accrual calculation and review
- Preparing general ledger account reconciliations
- Researching and concluding on transactions for proper accounting treatment and coding
- Preparing support schedules for external auditor requests
- Supporting ad hoc accounting projects
Required Skills :
- 2-3 years of professional experience in a corporate accounting setting
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities and work well under time pressures.
- Ability to react quickly and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Experience with Great Plains or Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus
- Public company experience a plus
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree or higher
