WORK IN YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITYKUMON MELTON located on High Street, Melton Requires Education Centre Assistants (Part-Time Permanent or Ongoing Casual)Ongoing PositionMinimum 2 Days a week: Monday and Thursday. More days could be added in futureHours between: 3:30pm and 7:30pmThe Kumon education centre offers students of all ages individualised study programs in Maths and English. It is a worksheet-based programme designed to develop students’ independent learning skills.Main duties include:- Preparing for centre opening and closing- Instructing students in Kumon Maths and English worksheets- Marking Kumon worksheets- Updating student record book- Packing of Kumon worksheets into student folders- Updating student study record and projection- Administering Oral reading, Math Multiplication tableThe Centre Assistant may also be required to assist the instructor in the following tasks:- Providing feedback to students about their work and/or progress- Assisting in the observation of students- Supervising tests and assess test results- Assisting with preparation of reporting- Assisting in conducting parent meetings and parent orientationsAll necessary training will be providedApplicants who are former KUMON students and Secondary School Students year (+ - 12) are strongly encouraged to apply.This is an Ongoing PositionJob Types: Part-time, Casual, Permanent, Fixed term, Contract, VolunteerContract length: 12 monthsPart-time hours: 6 - 14 per weekSalary: $10.50 - $24.00 per hourSchedule:- Afternoon shift- Evening shiftAbility to commute/relocate:- Melton, VIC 3337: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)Work Authorisation:- Australia
