Role Description
This is a contract remote, 10++ Independent Contractor role for an Educational Advocate at Education Advocates of America. The Educational Advocate will be responsible for advocating for students and their families to ensure they receive appropriate educational services, collaborating with school staff and parents, attending meetings, and providing support and guidance to families.
Qualifications
• 15+ Years Experience in Special Education
• 3+ Years Experience in a School Administrator Role (Director of Sped, Special Education Supervisor, Staffing Specialist)
• Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or related field, minimum
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Empathy and understanding towards students and families
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• THIS IS A 10-++ INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR SALES ROLE. CONTRACTORS WILL BE EXPECTED TO SET THEIR OWN SCHEDULES AND WORK INDEPENDENTLY. SALES EXPERIENCE IS A MAJOR PLUS, BUT WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN.
