Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to diverse learning styles, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills.

Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and clear expectations.
Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
Adapt teaching approaches for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services, ensuring inclusive education practices.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support each child's developmental milestones and educational goals.
Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that foster early childhood development, including toddler care and preschool experiences.
Incorporate Montessori or other specialized educational philosophies into lesson planning when applicable.
Support child welfare by maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment aligned with childcare standards.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, classroom management, and curriculum development.
Utilize effective communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback to students of varying ages and abilities.
Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and team meetings to promote a collaborative educational community.
Requirements

Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including preschool or daycare environments.
Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
Experience with curriculum development across multiple subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
Classroom management skills that foster a positive learning environment while maintaining discipline and order.
Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used in early childhood education.
Ability to adapt lessons for children with special needs or those requiring additional support in inclusive classrooms.
Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
Demonstrated commitment to child welfare and safety protocols within childcare or school settings.
Knowledge of Montessori methods or other specialized teaching philosophies is a plus.
