Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ELA Teacher to instruct students in reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking. The ideal candidate will foster a love for literature, develop students' analytical skills, and guide them in effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Teach reading comprehension, literary analysis, grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills.
• Introduce students to a diverse range of texts, including fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and drama.
• Foster discussion, debate, and critical thinking through class discussions and assignments.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations.
• Provide individualized support to help students strengthen their writing and analytical skills.
• Incorporate technology and interactive methods to enhance learning.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities as needed.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for literature and writing.
