Job Description
Site Supervision & Management:
Oversee day-to-day electrical operations during tower erection projects.
Supervise installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical systems related to tower work.
Coordinate and manage on-site electrical activities to ensure smooth progress.
Ensure electrical systems are installed according to project specifications, safety standards, and engineering designs.
Manpower Handling:
Manage and coordinate the electrical workforce on-site, ensuring proper staffing and skill allocation.
Supervise electricians and other relevant staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, training, and quality control procedures for all personnel.
Project Coordination & Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
Provide daily progress reports on electrical work and manpower utilization.
Address and resolve any electrical-related issues or delays that may arise during tower erection.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, local codes, and regulations on-site.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to minimize hazards.
Ensure all electrical installations undergo necessary inspections and quality checks before proceeding with further stages of the project.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of electrical work, changes, and inspections during the tower erection process.
Submit regular progress reports to the project manager regarding electrical installations and manpower resources.
Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings and electrical documentation upon project completion.
Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving:
Provide technical support for any electrical challenges encountered during the erection process.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to the project.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience (X+ years) working as an Electrical Engineer in construction or tower erection projects.
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, power distribution, and grounding systems.
Experience managing and supervising on-site electrical work and manpower.
Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Familiarity with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage personnel and collaborate with project teams.
Skills:
Technical knowledge in electrical systems and tower erection procedures.
