Located in Melbourne’s east, the successful applicant to this newly created role will be an Electrical Estimator with a background in electrical, construction and data communications.

This role will commence in our Fairfield location, and an office move is planned from August from Fairfield to Mount Waverley.

You will work alongside multiple project teams and be estimating electrical projects ranging in value.

Role Responsibilities

Prepare accurate, timely estimates for medium to large within the electrical, construction and data comms sector.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure feasibility and cost-efficiency.
Review and interpret tender specifications, plans, and technical drawings.
Analyse blueprints, technical drawings, and project requirements to develop precise quotes.
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
Support project planning and ensure all estimates align with budgetary and operational goals.
Develop and maintain industry contacts to strengthen client relationships.
Coach and train staff in estimating best practices.
Review and consult on complex estimates from other project teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
A minimum of three years of experience as an Electrical Estimator.
Trade experience in data communications.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and estimating software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
