TOP SKILLS: -1 + years experience in solar racking or solar electrical work. -Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/8th of an inch. -Ability to use hand and power tools -Strong work ethic -Attention to detail -Willingness to work overtime Solar electrical helpers will be working on a community size solar farm. This is a ground mounted commercial solar farm. They are assisting the electricians on the electrical scope of the project.. They will be working on small teams to complete the the assembly of the racking system. They can be doing various tasks from staging a material, pulling wire, completing connections, conduit installation, completing home runs and assisting the electricians on all tasks. Candidates may be required assist on non-electrical tasks like assembling racking or work site clean up. Duties and Responsibilities Include 1. Work in a fast pace environment while staying mindful of safety and quality. 2. Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving project Safety performance. 3. Check work along the way to ensure adherence to code and specifications. 4. Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner. 5. Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse. 6. Unloading trucks and staging materials in the field. 7. Interpersonal skills and teamwork: You must be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on busy construction sites. 8. Critical thinking: Your job will require that you identify the strengths and weaknesses of solutions to problems in order to choose the one that is most likely to be successful and cost-effective. +. Ability to work in a production environment where daily production goals are set, evaluated and optimized. 10. Anticipates and solves problems.
