Position Summary & Duties: We are currently gathering resumes for candidates interested in an Electrician - Helper position for upcoming projects working for one of the HGA partner companies based in Ruston, LA. These are direct-hire positions and include benefits. ELECTRICIAN HELPER ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES •Lead, guide, and train helpers •Ensure quality standards, performance, and customer satisfaction •Strictly adhere to the company safety program and site specific safety requirements •Understanding of all aspects of industrial electrical installation - conduit routing, wire pulling, medium and low voltage termination, switchgear installation •Layout and install conduit routes, set up for wire pulls, terminate PLC and DCS cabinets, terminate motors and motor controls •Install lighting, receptacles, switchgear, panelboards •Proficient with the latest edition of the NEC Qualifications: ELECTRICIAN HELPER QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS •Minimum of 2 years in industrial electrical construction •Ability to effectively communicate with all personnel, clients, and engineers •Associates Degree in Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent is a plus •Current OSHA 10 •Being part of a team and mentoring young people into the electrical and instrumentation field is a must. •Candidates should be located within daily commuting distance of Ruston, LA - and be willing to travel to client sites throughout the Southeast U.S. ELECTRICIAN HELPER PREFERRED SKILLS •Rigid Conduit Threading and Bending ½" through 6" - Rigid 1224, Rigid 535, Greenlee 555, Power Pony •Wire Pulling - single conductor, multi-conductor tray cable, ethernet, fiber •Equipment Operations - mini excavator, skid steer, scissor lift, boom lift Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
