As an authorized distributor for globally trusted brands across prototyping, industrial design, IoT, and audio computing, we’re looking for a resourceful and technically-minded Electronics E-Commerce Buyer to join our team and help us grow our product catalog, streamline sourcing, and enhance our relationships with key partners and vendors.
It's a hybrid role: remote work is possible however some office attendance might be necessary for efficient team work and collaboration.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for ensuring we maintain a dynamic, high-quality, and competitive product offering. From strategic sourcing to vendor management and inventory control, you’ll play a key role in keeping our catalog sharp and our operations running smoothly.
Core Responsibilities:
Product Sourcing & Selection: Evaluate and acquire components, tools, and platforms aligned with industry demand, especially in computing, prototyping, IoT, and embedded electronics.
Vendor Research & Negotiation: Identify and onboard new suppliers that strengthen our commercial offering, while negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies to guide purchasing strategy.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels across fast-moving SKUs while avoiding overstock; collaborate with logistics and fulfillment teams to ensure delivery timelines are met.
Purchase Order Execution: Handle all aspects of procurement, including RFQs, POs, cost updates, and schedule tracking.
Supplier Relationships: Act as the point of contact for critical suppliers and strategic manufacturing partners.
Issue Resolution & RMAs: Support return, credit, and repair workflows in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Use historical and real-time sales data to forecast demand and guide purchasing volumes.
Problem Solving: Resolve sourcing, shipping, and vendor disputes with professionalism and creativity.
This is not a "data-entry" level position. It's quite the opposite and requites significant experience, analytical thinking, ability to research and negotiate.
What You’ll Need
5+ years of purchasing experience, with 3+ years in inventory procurement for e-commerce or production/supply chain operations.
Strong background in B2B procurement, electronics, or distribution.
Familiarity with technical products, especially computing platforms, modules, and accessories.
Experience managing supplier networks, negotiating terms, and scaling purchasing processes.
Sharp analytical mindset with the ability to interpret demand, spot trends, and act on insights.
Knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory planning, and basic materials handling.
Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment.
Bonus: Experience with ERP systems, RMAs, or managing international suppliers.
