Elementary Entrepreneurship Teacher - Summer 2026

💰 $3,200 - $5,120 (Est.) 📍 Seattle

Job Description

About the Role:

Summer at Lakeside is currently recruiting for a Elementary Entrepreneurship teacher to teach at our Investigative Learning Camp Jr., an academic and experiential summer camp designed for students entering grades 3-4. In Junior Entrepreneurs, students learn how ideas become real products, services, and social-good solutions by following the Design Thinking Process: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Through hands-on activities and challenges, campers identify problems worth solving, brainstorm and build quick prototypes, gather “customer” feedback, and iterate to improve their designs. The Investigative Learning Camp Jr. (ILC Jr.) offers students the opportunity to take classes covering STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) -based topics. All courses encourage creative play and hands-on learning; courses are project-based and do not assume students have any previous knowledge of the subject matter. No homework is assigned.

The Junior Entrepreneurs class runs afternoons, 12:30 - 3:15 p.m., July 13- July 17 and July 27- July 31, Monday - Friday. There will be a mandatory orientation meeting on Wednesday, July 1. Visit our Investigative Learning Camp Jr. webpage to read more about this camp, including descriptions of the courses offered for summer 2026.
