What You’ll Do
As an Elementary School Teacher at Rambam, you will:
Create a warm, engaging classroom where students feel safe, supported, and excited to learn
Design and deliver developmentally appropriate, interdisciplinary lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners
Assess student learning using a variety of tools (benchmarks, MAP testing, formative assessments, etc.)
Use data thoughtfully to inform instruction and support individual student growth
Collaborate closely with colleagues to plan instruction, share ideas, and problem-solve together
Communicate regularly and openly with families about student progress and classroom expectations
Foster higher-order thinking, curiosity, and a growth mindset in all students
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices and educational research
Believe deeply that every child can succeed and work intentionally to make that belief a reality
What We’re Looking For
We’re excited to connect with educators who bring many of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
Valid teaching certification (preferred)
Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners
Familiarity with research-based interventions and tiered instruction
Comfort working with students from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
Strong communication skills with students, colleagues, and families
Ability to use data to guide instruction and support student growth
Strong organizational, time-management, and collaboration skills
