Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ELT professional for development of a high-quality, school-based and blended learning English product for K-8 students. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and revision of curriculum materials, teacher tools on effective instructional practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and oversee the implementation of K-8 English content that aligns curricular standards through books-based and digital platforms
• Design and develop internal curricular frameworks based on existing literature in ELT pedagogies and various global curricular systems
• Lead the prototyping stage that can guide development of various learner and teacher assets
• Lead the overall scale development process for the English product and maintain oversight on the projects that constitute it
• Liaise with schools expansion and implementation teams to ensure effective uptake and implementation respectively.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to ensure that English curricula is meeting project requirements
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of English curricula and instructional practices and make adjustments as necessary
• Develop and lead professional development opportunities for teachers to improve their English instruction
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Englisheducation to ensure that our curricula are relevant and effective
Qualifications
• A degree in English, Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field
• At least 8 years of experience in ELT. Must be a mix of teaching or teacher training experience, and English content or curriculum development
• Experience in an EdTech product would be desirable but not compulsory
• In-depth knowledge of existing educational standards and ELT pedagogies
