Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Embedded Software Engineer at Industron Technical Services Pvt Ltd. The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with embedded software programming, software development, debugging, software design, and firmware integration. This role is based in Trivandrum with flexibility for some remote work. Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Responsibilities Job involves frequent interaction with board design, software, and testing teams to deliver the product meeting the customer requirements. Job involves understanding and working with interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, SD, eMMC, I2C, SPI/QSPI etc. Preparation of technical documents describing the design/developed systems. The candidate is expected to have active contribution for architecture/micro-architecture and design of the embedded software. Understand the requirement of activity, design, create test plan, implement the code changes and test. Technical Skills 2 to 5 years of experience in designing and implementing embedded applications with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, AVR, PIC) and embedded processors. Proficiency in embedded programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembly Hands on experience with communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, USB, Ethenet, PCIe) Understanding of analog and digital circuit design SDLC Hardware bring-up and debug experience. Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and task scheduling is desirable. Exposure to embedded Linux development is a plus. Experience in DSP Programming/HDL coding is a plus. Soft skills Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve complex issues Excellent attention to detail for writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Adaptability to learn new technologies and keep up with industry trends. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
