Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jaipur for an Embroidery Puncher Designer at Zenzvibe. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to designing and creating embroidery patterns with precision and creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design Conversion: Convert digital or hand-drawn designs into machine-readable embroidery files using specialized software.
• Digitizing: Create embroidery patterns by determining the stitch type, sequence, and color changes to ensure the design is accurately represented on the fabric.
• Quality Assurance: Review and adjust designs to ensure they meet production standards, including stitch density, thread breaks, and overall design integrity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers to understand their vision and provide input on how to best translate designs into embroidery.
• Machine Setup: Assist in setting up and testing embroidery machines to ensure designs are correctly loaded and executed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the digitizing or embroidery process, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of designs, machine settings, and any adjustments made for future reference.
• Continual Learning: Stay updated on the latest embroidery techniques, software updates, and industry trends to continuously improve quality and efficiency.
• Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience as an Embroidery Puncher or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of past work.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in embroidery digitizing software (e.g., Wilcom, Pulse) and a solid understanding of different fabrics and embroidery techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail and precision to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Creativity: Ability to translate creative designs into high-quality embroidery files.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with designs and machinery.
• Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers and production teams.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Education: A diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred:
• Experience working with high-volume production environments.
• Knowledge of various types of embroidery machines and their capabilities.
• Understanding of garment construction and how embroidery can impact it.
