HEB Manitoba has recently launched an exciting member records administration system that provides new and improved centralized services for all of our HEB membership.
We are seeking an Employer Data Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager, Employer Services, you will provide administrative support for your team members by ensuring our employer stakeholders’ (employers) inquiries are triaged and addressed on a timely basis. You will assist with resolving payroll and other data discrepancies and you will also be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of virtual and in-person training sessions and meetings with our employers.

In your first three months as Employer Data Administrator, you will be:
Learning the basic concepts of our Healthcare, Dental, Life Insurance and Pension Plan administrative policies and procedures.
Working with your team to develop your knowledge of internal software systems and specifications.
Starting to understand the relationships between HEB Manitoba, our employers, unions, and members.
Familiarizing yourself with our employers and the variety of inquiries that are submitted to HEB.
Beginning to review demographic data submitted by our employers and learn the process for resolving discrepancies.
Starting to provide administrative support to your Employer Services team members.
Your responsibilities will increase to:
Addressing incoming employer inquiries and forwarding them as appropriate.
Communicating with employers as needed to either provide guidance or obtain information for the resolution of data discrepancies.
Coordinating and scheduling virtual and in-person meetings.
Continuing to develop a broader understanding of HEB Manitoba data requirements.

Qualifications for Your Success:
Experience & Education
Two or more years’ experience working in an office environment.
Completion of a High School or General Equivalency diploma is required and a post-secondary diploma or certificate would be an asset.
Previous experience in the pension, benefits or payroll fields would be an asset.
*An equivalent combination of the above listed experience and/or education may be considered.
Knowledge, Competencies & Skills
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
Professional approach with exemplary interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to service excellence.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly detailed environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Enthusiastic and positive team player.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Experience in coordinating and scheduling virtual meetings using software applications such as Teams or Zoom would be an asset.
