The opportunity
The Royal Freemasons community is currently seeking experienced and motivated Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EEN’s) to join our team at Elizabeth Gardens Residential Aged Care Facility in Burwood.
As a valued member of our clinical team, you will be pivotal in supporting the Registered Nurses and other clinical staff with the delivery of safe, high quality and contemporary clinical care to our residents. You will play an important role ensuring a resident-centric approach and high level of care and support is provided to our residents at all times.
We currently have shifts available Week 1 & 2 – Thursday & Friday - 1500 – 2215.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Provision of hands-on care and support under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Delivering thorough assessments, ensuring exceptional reporting, and contributing to comprehensive care plan evaluations for residents.
• Provide quality resident care in accordance with current care plans.
• To promote best practice interventions that will lead to positive health outcomes.

Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience Required For The Role
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Recent experience in caring for high care and dementia residents
• Knowledge of wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, clinical assessments, care plans
Other Requirements
It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.
All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-1+ (3 vaccines) and are encouraged to receive the Flu-Vaccine, all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of Covid-1+ vaccination prior to commencement.
