Job Description
The job involves sterilizing and preparing rooms and equipment, such as scopes, before and after procedures as directed. You will support and assist physicians and registered nurses with procedures, verify proper equipment functioning, and perform safety checks. Additionally, you will maintain and/or repair endoscopic equipment, collect and deliver specimens ensuring sterility, and assist in patient intake, transport, paperwork, and recordkeeping of physician observations as directed. You will also place devices to monitor vital signs on patients and distribute information regarding equipment or instruments at in-service training sessions.
Moreover, you will validate and refresh basic professional skills through active participation at in-service trainings and perform other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities also include raising requests for drugs and consumables through HIS to the Sub store, receiving drugs and consumables from the Sub store with issue slips, assisting in patient positioning, taking care of assigned equipment, and helping in patient transfer to ICU and wards. You will raise bills and hand them over to the concerned circulating staff and be responsible for helping maintain NABH standards in the department, depending on the size of the medical facility shift.
This is a full-time position with health insurance benefits. The schedule involves rotational shifts. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year of total work experience. The work location is in person
