Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Accountable for
1. Responsible for the Product delivery to CPH/Platform on behalf of VES Wiring Harness technical team respective ICE Project.
2. Act as single point of ownership for Product of Program CPH/ Group CPH/ COE Head reviews for the respective ICE projects.
3. Work with COE /Product heads to leverage COE resources towards delivering the TCP.
4. Collaborate with Program Manager/COE /Product heads to achieve TCP targets related to Wiring Harness
5. Ensure timely inputs on Manufacturing feasibility.
6. Ensure adherence to processes and achievement of quality targets for the respective project.
7. Strategically plan material costs to meet established target goals for the respective project.
8. Ensure system-level compliance with TCP and FI targets through strategic trade-offs and effective collaboration with relevant stakeholders
+. Ensure strict scope management to avoid deviations from project objectives and timelines.
10. Drive product evaluations focusing on quality improvement, Product Quality, and Root Cause Analysis to ensure high standards.
11. Collaboration with Stakeholders: – Quality, PQ, RGA (Product Evaluations), Sourcing & Manufacturing team (System Compliance & Effectiveness), CDMM/Suppliers (Development Process, Risks & Volume Management)
Knowledge on
1) 3d design / routing & Packaging of all E&E Wiring harness (LV & HV) & its related Components like brackets/ channels/ fixations using CATIA V 5.
2) Proposal to make multiple physical architecture based on vehicle type and assy process
3) Finalization of Layout design and create drawings via solid modelling, using CAD system CATIA V 5, with guidance and direction provided by supervisor for all E&E Components
4) nitiate and develop design concepts to meet cost objectives, schedule, design parameters and criteria by use of layouts and installation drawings.
5) Understanding of basic stress/system calculations using CAE and also implement design changes accordingly
6) Evaluate existing and new designs for compliance to internal and external standards and review designs for various governmental regulation compliance
7) Responsible for Design for Manufacturability, Fitment trial clearance & understanding of manufacturing processes both wiring harness and wiring harness assy in vehicle.
8) Interface with vendors and suppliers to select suitable comoponents for design and approve components
+) Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the routing of wiring harness and mechanical routing related issues. Usage of tools used in MPDS, DFMEA , problem solving tools and techniques and project management tools ,
10) Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Experience
3 to 5 Years

Qualifications
BE Mechanical Engineering with CATIA V5 R 1+ knowledge
BE Automobile Engineeing with CATIA V5 R1+ knowledge
BE Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ BE Electrical & Communication Engineering

Awareness of other vehicle systems processes eg. Manufacturing, advance technology and knowing the details about other vehicle systems like trims,BIW et.c to basic level
Maintaining quality level tragets as per agreement
Very good knowledge on CATIA/ CAP-H/ Schematic tools
Knowledge on GD&T.
Good Knowledge on Harness/ Plastic Part design, Die and Tool/ Molding process Pertaining to Wiring components.
