Summary:
The Engineering Sales Consultant is responsible for supporting the sales team in the sale of engineering products and services. This includes providing technical expertise, developing and delivering presentations, and managing customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Facade&Fenestration and applications, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise to the sales team by answering customer questions, developing technical presentations, and writing technical proposals.
Manage customer relationships by developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, providing after-sales support, and resolving customer issues.
Develop and deliver presentations to customers and prospects, demonstrating the benefits of our products and services.
Work with the sales team to close sales, negotiate contracts, and manage the sales process.
Research and track competitive products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends.
Maintain and update technical documentation and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in engineering sales or a related field.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and applications of Facade & Fenestration Products.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to travel as needed.
