PRIMARY DUTIES:
All candidates will perform the following duties:
• Collaborate with the Senior Engineers to create more efficient methods.
• Develop the specifications for all equipment that is required for each project.
• Create the framework used to develop and monitor project metrics and manage the
collection of project data.
• Formulate realistic parameters for each project, including design elements and
implementation procedures.
• Establish the methods by which all field tests are administered and develop various ways to
monitor the quality of those tests.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
All candidates will have the following minimum skills:
• Four (4) years of recent specialized experience in engineering and project planning.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Experience with field management considered a plus.
• Experience with satellite communication systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.
• Work well independently or as a member of a team environment
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, OR Associate’s degree plus seven (7) years of recent specialized experience, OR eleven (11) years of recent specialized experience.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
