Job Description
• Key Responsibilities:
- Teach basic English language skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
- Introduce students to foundational computer skills, including typing, using basic software (e.g., Microsoft Office), and internet navigation.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the specific learning levels and needs of the children.
- Foster an encouraging and supportive atmosphere to build confidence and interest in learning.
- Collaborate with other staff and volunteers to create a holistic educational experience for the students.
- Track students’ progress and provide feedback to staff members and administrators as needed.
• Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Sociology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Teaching certifications or experience in education is a plus.
- Experience:
- Previous experience working with children or vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with social work settings is a bonus.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Proficient in basic computer skills and familiar with teaching beginner-level computer knowledge.
- Empathy, patience, and an approachable demeanor.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working Hours:
- Part-time; flexible hours, primarily weekday afternoons and/or weekends as per the schedule.
- Students or recent graduates with a background in MSW (Master of Social Work) or Sociology who are interested in making a positive impact in their community.
- Individuals passionate about education and social welfare, looking for meaningful part-time work.

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
