Must be very familiar with Ontario curriculum in English and Math for High school.
Have a good patient to teach students
strong communication skills and have good customer service
Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning style and academic requirements
Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
Support students with homework, test preparation, and skill development
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and motivation
Utilize classroom experience and teaching techniques to enhance understanding of complex concepts
Incorporate computer skills and educational technology into tutoring sessions when appropriate
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding student progress and needs
Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance
