Job Description
English Teacher & Department Coordinator:
We are looking for a well experienced person who can take overall responsibility for leading the English Department
• ensuring progressive teaching practices aligned with the CBSE curriculum and the National Education Policy guidelines
• creating regular opportunities for Department members to share, reflect and improve on classroom practice and guiding them to deliver engaging lessons for better student-teacher outcomes
• producing the best possible lesson plans for diverse learners
• quality checking on Donor reporting
The person will report to the Principal.
The person should have -
• Postgraduate in English with a B.Ed
• Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience of which 5 years should have been in a supervisory position
• Familiarity with digital platforms (MS Office, Google Drive)
• Complete fluency in English (both written and verbal)
• Experience in training students for dramatics, debates, extempore, speeches and editing Students’ reports will be an added advantage
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
