Job Title: English Language Teacher – Kindergarten & Primary Grades
Location: Arete International School
Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: Principal
Position Overview:
Arete International School is seeking a passionate, dynamic, and experienced English Language Teacher for Kindergarten and Primary Grades. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong command of English, and a proven track record of working with international curricula such as Oxford, Cambridge, IB PYP, or other globally recognized educational frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate English language lessons.
Develop students' foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Integrate phonics, storytelling, and interactive methods into teaching.
Foster creativity, critical thinking, and a love for language in young learners.
Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and language abilities.
Maintain accurate student records, including assessments and progress reports.
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure a holistic learning experience.
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Teaching certification or diploma in early childhood/primary education.
Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting.
Familiarity with international curricula (Oxford,Cambridge/IB/other).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using digital tools to support learning.
A warm, approachable, and child-centered teaching style.
Preferred Attributes:
Strong classroom management skills.
Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic about early years education.
Team player with a collaborative spirit.
