TeacherActive is delighted to partner with a mixed co-ed school in search of a dedicated long-term English Teacher. The school, rated 'GOOD' by OFSTED, offers excellent transport links and convenient staff parking. This role has the potential for permanency and will initially focus on Key Stage 3, with opportunities to extend to Key Stage 5. Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Enhance the English department across Key Stages 3 to 5.
• Stay updated with educational developments and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
• Prepare students for exams and encourage career-focused and employability skills.
• Contribute to the school's science curriculum and support both the personal and academic development of pupils.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a English specialism.
• Experience teaching English Language, and/or English Literature up to Key Stage 5.
• Strong classroom management and presence.
Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
