Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a reputed school and contribute to developing students' proficiency in English language and literature. The teacher will be responsible for classroom instruction, student engagement, academic planning, and fostering communication skills in learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English language, grammar, reading comprehension, and literature
Create and deliver lesson plans that meet academic standards and curriculum goals
Prepare teaching materials, assessments, and classroom activities
Promote interactive learning through storytelling, debates, role play, and presentations
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
Manage the classroom with discipline and maintain a safe, positive learning environment
Encourage reading habits, creative writing, and vocabulary development
Participate in school activities, workshops, and faculty meetings
Requirements:
Graduate/Postgraduate in English (B.A./M.A. in English or English Literature)
B.Ed. (Mandatory for teaching roles)
Prior experience in school teaching (minimum 1 year preferred)
Excellent command of English – spoken and written
Familiarity with digital teaching platforms and tools
Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills
Preferred Skills:
Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners
Creative and adaptive teaching approach
Ability to inspire students with effective communication
Comfortable with hybrid or smart classroom setups
Salary:
₹20,000 – ₹+0,000 per month (depending on experience, class level, and school location)
