About the Role:
Are you passionate about teaching phonics to young children? Spellzee is looking for a Full-Time English Tutor who can conduct engaging and effective trial classes for kids (ages 4–14) and clearly communicate learning outcomes to parents.
This is a full-time paid role (not freelance or per demo), with salary based on your experience and performance.
What You’ll Do:
• Conduct interactive phonics demo classes (1:1 and small groups)
• Engage both children and parents during the session
• Explain phonics concepts like letter sounds, blending, segmenting, etc.
• Coordinate with academic and sales teams for demo scheduling
• Provide feedback to internal teams after each demo
Requirements:
• 1+ year experience in teaching phonics (online preferred)
• Knowledge of Jolly Phonics or similar methods (certification is a plus)
• Fluent in English and any one South Indian language (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam)
• Confident in handling both children and parents
• Must have a proper work-from-home setup : laptop, webcam, headset & stable internet
• Comfortable working between 2 PM to * PM, Monday–Saturday
