Cashmere High School is a vibrant, state co-educational secondary school with a roll of approximately 2300 students. We are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment that fosters citizenship, opportunities, vibrancy, and excellence - our COVE values.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire students to strive for excellence and will be committed to delivering a high-quality teaching and learning programme.

This is a part-time (0.8FTE) 16 hours contact and 4 hours non contact, fixed term position beginning on 8th September 2025 and ending on 09 December 2025. Beginning teachers can apply. (If the successful applicant is a first year teacher this position will be full-time).

Please state your senior subjects and other supporting subjects.

Must be a New Zealand Registered Teacher.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to a welcoming and supportive school environment
Participate actively in the school’s co-curricular programme
