About The Role
GEMS Modern Academy, Kochi's first authorized Cambridge / IB PYP school has been thoughtfully constructed to provide a learning environment that’s filled with opportunities to discover, explore and have fun.
As the school continues to grow, we are looking for an outstanding, creative and passionate English Teacher to join our team.
Successful applicants will have the following:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree or certified teaching qualification. B.Ed would be an advantage
• Experience teaching English in a Cambridge International curriculum school
• IGCSE experience in teaching Senior School (Grde 6-10)
• The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning opportunities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly fluent in English
• Aspiration to work in a world class school with real prospects for enhancing your career.
• A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
• Willingness to support extra-curricular activities
• Familiar with school systems and strong IT skills

About The School
Nestled in 8.3 acres of lush greenery, GEMS Modern Academy, Kochi is a new and quickly growing International school providing a world class education supported by outstanding facilities. We currently have 430 students from Pre KG to Grade + and will be opening for Grade 10 and 11 next academic year.
We offer exciting opportunities with our International curriculum, IB PYP in KG and Primary leading to IGCSE and A levels in the Senior School, in highly stimulating learning environments with the best of international practices, all underpinned by the GEMS Core Values.
Set on a magnificent estuary, serene Kochi has been drawing traders, explorers and travellers to its shores for over 600 years.
