We have a great opportunity for an English Teacher to deliver accredited learning to disengaged learners undertaking English study programmes such as Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level.
The role holder will be responsible for teaching a range of courses as directed, to a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rated level. You will develop learner-centred teaching, learning and assessment strategies, which contribute to increased retention, achievement, and progression of the young people we support.
You will have:
Qualified to deliver accredited English programmes of study.
Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g. QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE)
Experience of teaching on and assessing accredited English qualifications from Entry Level to Level 3.
An ongoing interest in and knowledge of recent developments in English qualification delivery.
You will have access to the following benefits:
