Job Description
Philosophy Education are currently recruiting for a committed, passionate and hardworking an English Teacher to join their staff on a full-time basis from September 2026. Pupils come from a diverse and vibrant local community and benefit greatly from the stability and structure within the school and the dedicated staff team at the school. You will be required to teach to English from key stage 3 to key stage 5, following the school’s policy on planning and assessment. You will be joining a supportive department, who strive to maintain high standards and expectations.
Students follow an engaging, creative, thematic curriculum based on the National Curriculum, which will be person
learning to allow students to make the highest levels of progress.
The right teacher
will show ambition and be able to support and motivate students in the classroom
plan and prepare fun learning opportunities tailored to the individual needs of each child
assess individual learning needs and work on a group and class basis
To apply for this English Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience of teaching English from KS3 and KS5
Be available on a full-time basis from September 2026
