Job description
Your role as an English teacher's role will involve teaching language skills like reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while fostering critical thinking and creativity. You will guide students in analysing texts, forming opinions, and expressing ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. By introducing diverse literature, you will promote cultural awareness and empathy, while also preparing students for exams and further education.

Academics have built outstanding relationships across Herefordshire and are seeking an English Teacher for the second half of the autumn term for a secondary school in Hertford. This would be to cover with full teaching responsibilities e.g. planning and marking up to Christmas.

The Role: English Teacher

Contract: Temporary, full time

Pay: 160 to 240 depending on experience.

Must Have
• Experience working as an English teacher in the UK
• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
