Job Title: English Teacher (Grade 8–12)
Location: Vardhman International School, Shipra Path
Department: Academics
Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years teaching senior classes
Qualification: MA in English + B.Ed (preferred)
Salary: As per experience and skills
Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and well-spoken English Teacher to handle students from Class 8 to 12, with a strong command over spoken English, grammar, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a neutral or polished accent, be fluent in spoken and written English, and have the ability to mentor students for board exams, interviews, and public speaking.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned English lessons for Classes 8–12
Teach literature, grammar, writing skills, and spoken English as per grade level
Focus on improving communication skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and fluency
Conduct interactive activities, debates, elocutions, and presentations to enhance student confidence
Prepare students for board examinations (CBSE/ICSE/State Board, as applicable)
Assess and track student progress through assignments, tests, and feedback sessions
Create a positive classroom environment and manage behavior effectively
Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in academic planning and workshops
Maintain accurate student records and prepare reports for parent-teacher meetings
Provide additional support or remedial classes where necessary
Requirements:
Excellent command over spoken and written English
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Sound knowledge of English grammar, phonetics, and literature
Ability to train students in public speaking, accent improvement, and vocabulary building
Passion for teaching and mentoring young minds
Smart personality, professional attitude, and confidence in handling senior students
Preferred Skills:
Experience in preparing students for IELTS, spoken English, or debate competitions
Familiarity with smart classroom tools and blended learning

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
