Job Description:
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of EHS programs and make necessary improvements.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Train employees on EHS policies and practices.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Stay updated with the latest EHS regulations and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
Desired Profile:
• Excellent knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in EHS auditing or a related role.
• Certification in EHS auditing (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001) is preferred.
Location: Kolkata
Annual CTC: 5 Lakhs / PA
