Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ahmedabad for an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Officer. The EHS Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the workplace. Daily tasks include conducting regular safety inspections, managing occupational health programs, ensuring workplace safety, and implementing EHS policies. The role involves responsibility for fostering a safe and healthy work environment while minimizing environmental risks.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety procedures and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards
• Possession of or training in NEBOSH certification
• Proven ability to monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities related to EHS concerns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively promote safety awareness
• Experience in a similar role or within an environmental services company is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field is recommended
