Environmental Representative

Job Description

Primary focus on environmental (including air quality) processes, programs, policies and compliance. Interact with regional and corporate departments to ensure efficient environmental processes are implemented. Conduct, collect, and oversee environmental data collection required to comply with Federal, State and local environmental regulations. Supports and develops ongoing improvements of environmental systems including database systems and processes. Highly skilled within databases with the ability to gather, verify and format data in multiple systems is preferred. Communicate and collaborate with other environmental and regulatory specialists across the company to ensure consistency in project execution. Maintain knowledge on all environmental state and federal regulatory changes and proposed changes that may impact EOG. Develop, coordinate and perform required environmental training for operations personnel across the company. Coordinate reporting of environmental applications, reports and other relevant regulatory documents as needed. Review and coordinate with operations in implementation of safety and environmental stewardship practices across the company as needed. Willing to travel up to 20%.

3+ years’ experience in Environmental, with oil and gas industry experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, and/or Environmental preferred. High school diploma or GED required. Strong technical knowledge. Broad knowledge of environmental laws and regulations. Must be excellent in communications and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively with others at all levels. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to exercise sound judgment.
